I just bought a Z87-GD65 motherboard and I was wondering if anyone knows if there is a setting somewhere that allows you to turn the computer on with the keyboard rather than pressing the power button. I couldn't find any references in the manual so I'm not too hopeful, but it's an option I'd love to have as my computer is tucked away and a bit difficult to get at.

Thanks for any help!

I can't see any hard power on options on USB input, but there is the 'S3 resume/wake on USB' which will enable keyboard or mouse input to wake the system. It is off by default in the bios under the power management/wake events.

Super annoying if you have kids or cats...

Great! That did the job. Once I turned on wake up from USB another option opened up that allowed me to turn the computer on via the keyboard or mouse. Thanks for the tip!
