I think either is fine, you could go for whichever is the cheapest.
Personally, I would go with the MSI because i don't mind having sliver showing on the side of the card. If you want a really stealthy look, go with XFX as it got its shroud covering almost all over the card.

I can't really comment on a xfx as i never had one before, but i have a MSI 270 and its keeps relatively cool and quiet at 20% fan speed at idle (you could set it at 10% if you want using MSI Afterburner). Max temps i gotten is 65C but i use an aggressive fan profile at higher loads. Plus i can overclock to the speed of a 270X so a win-win.
