Dualing from my Lenovo Yoga to two Asus Monitors

I'm looking to dual monitor off of my yoga. I'm trying to use my yoga as a pc, where one asus monitor is my main screen, and the other is the extended screen.

Regardless of all of my efforts, I cannot get the two asus monitors to show different screens.

If it helps, I'm using all HDMI.

HDMI from my yoga, through an HDMI 1x2 splitter to the HDMI port on each individual ASUS monitor.

all help would be appreciated.

Your issue is the splitter. You are splitting the same signal in two parts, it's impossible to get the monitors to show different things. It's like cutting a hamburger in half and trying to have one half turn into a milkshake when you hand it to someone. If you want to use two external screens you can either get a docking station (if it has one for that model) or get a USB video card. Those are pretty slow but work fine for basic use.

It would probably be easier to pickup a universal docking station - here is the docking station I use with the Surface Pros we use in the office. They are actually able to use the built-in display and 2 additional monitors:
