Double check the CPU list, I don't think the 8350 is supported. You would probably be good if you can find a FX 6300. As far as your files go, upgrading the CPU doesn't effect them, they are stored on the hard drive.

The motherboard supports AM3+ does it not? So why wouldn't the CPU be compatible?

yes i doubled check 8350 they arent compatible. is that processor any good for gaming?

8350 is not good option for lower price OP can go with 8320 and GTX-770 which is a lot better compared to GTX-760!

Well surely fx 8350 is the best cpu under your budget. You probably will not be needing more than that. And as per your budget you can easily get a gtx 760 till $250. Current at around $300 range r9 280x and gtx 770 are the best options. But you will not be able to get then under $330.
I suggest you get fx 8320 ($160) so that you can easily be able to get r9 280x or gtx 770.
fx 8320 is just an underclocked version on fx 8350 so you won't be loosing noticeable performance with 8320 over 8350.

I suggest to get the first one.

Again I suggest the first one as it is well suited for your budget.
