Programs needed on windows 8?

I Recently brought a new desktop computer, I has windows 8 operating system. I'm not wondering is there any programs i should download to help keep my computer protected, updated etc...

Some programs i have installed
Malwarebytes Pro
Windows defender
Driver Reviver
Google chrome with - Donottrackme, Adblocker, Adblocker Plus and youtube adblocker plus

PS: Some specs of pc incase needed
Gigabyte F2A88XM-DS2
AMD FM2 A8 6600K 3.9ghz Quad Core
8gb crucial ballistix DDR3 1600mhz Ram

The best anti virus in my opinion is knowledge. If you see something that is too good to be true , it probably is, so just dont download it. Look for reviews and stuff.

Driver Reviver or ANY auto driver update software is a bunch of bologna too. Driver updating takes some effort, you have to go to the component manufacturer and get the latest driver from there. Once, I had a auto driver update software for an old Intel laptop that downloaded AMD drivers and ended up fudging my laptop up. From then on, I vowed to just check the manufacturer's site occasionally.

Windows Defender is ok.

Adblock Plus, oh YES. It is necessary, the ads are so annoying, thank god Adblocker took care of them. Also, you should only need one Adblock Plus, I...
