i want to upgrade my ram from 3 gb to 6 gb,i have ddr2 ram,will it b worthbale to upgrade or should i look for new ddr3 board to have ddr3 ram?how much difference is between ddr2 and ddr3 rams?

Yes, ddr3 is much better. It offers double the bandwidth and much faster speeds. If you think you could spare the cash, go right ahead. Also, check your other components to make sure you will get the most out of your ram, you don't want to upgrade your motherboard and ram just to see your other parts are holding it back. I don't know the exact difference, but I know that all new game requirements, benchmarks and other things are done in DDR3, and I believe that motherboards are starting to phase out DDR2 as well.
