Hi,

I have a Lenovo Z580 laptop, with the two display adapters being an Intel HD Graphics 4000 (yeuch) and a NVidia Geforce 635M chip (that's more like it!) running Windows 8.1.

I Don't know how recently it started, but I noticed a few days ago that no games were running on the NVidia, only the Intel. (I think it was when I installed the new NVidia graphics driver, more on that later.)

I went into the NVidia control panel, and told it to run all my games only on the NVidia chip. Alas, EVE Online tells me its can only run on the Intel, and my other games don't let me have a choice but judging by the appalling FPS, it's probably running on the Intel as well (any way to check Counterstrike: Global Offensive?)

So, about the driver install. The Geforce Experience program crashed when installing the driver, yet it said it had installed. To be on the safe side, I rolled back the driver in Device Manager, and then did a system restore to be on the even safer side. Then, I reinstalled the driver without a hitch, and it says it's installed properly.

So far, I've booted my laptop in safe mode, run EVE in safe mode, unplugged my Hench display and used the inbuilt crappy laptop one, but all to no avail. I don't know if it's just a EVE thing as I don't know how to check the games, and I've logged a support ticket there as well. Any useful help would be greatly appreciated, as I'm about ready to throw this less-than-a-year-old laptop out the window.
