AMD FX-6300 vs AMD FX-8320

hi guys im just wondering what would be the best processor i should get? my budget is around 200$ and those two are my options

  1. What do you plan on doing with it, and what do you expect out of it? The 8320 is much more capable, but you could also put the money towards another upgrade that may do you better.

    Im more on gaming, and my old processor is amd athlon ii x 260

    i don't plan of buying a new mobo cause i just newly bought it. i just need a good CPU that supports my mobo :bounce:
  6. You'll want the 6300 then, because I believe that your mobo won't support above an 8000 series

    FX 6300 is your only choice here. That motherboard doesn't support FX 8320/8350. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but that is not a very good board at all.
  8. It really isn't, unfortunately. But with your budget you could buy a better one, so you could upgrade your processor in the future.
