need help. I have bought a gtx 650 1gb ddr5. I have only
1k in my hand. I will not be able to buy a 3.5k psu. If I
buy a low cost 600watt psu under 1k nd connect my
graphics card with a molex to pci adapter. Will it work
fine???? or it will get damaged???

Buy a corsair cx430. Very basic but reliable. If you mesh up your PSU it could in the end blow up all of your parts... for me that would be enough reason to invest a couple extra bucks on a proper PSU ;).

Never buy a low cost power supply. They're bombs waiting to happen, that could melt, explode, catch fire... and are more likely to take out your other computer parts when they do fail.

You don't need a 600w power supply - a 400w PSU would be fine, as long as it's reliable.

The power supply is THE MOST IMPORTANT part of your computer. If it fails, it could easily destroy other parts.
