I have a pre-made computer(should have built it) All the information for my computer is here http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?docname=c03...
So I was looking around to fix this problem from old topic, But I haven't found a fix to this yet. I have a 600 watt power supply and I made sure to plug everything in.I am fairly new to the upgrading part of computers. I tried the hdmi cable with my tv and tried a dvi cable to my monitor board but no signal. When I put in my old graphic card it works, so I need some help tell me if it isn't compatibility with my motherboard.

More about : 270x signal

make sure the gpu is fitted all the way down into the pci-e socket and recheck all cables if are firmly hooked up. when you try posting the pc, check if gpu fans spin. all pcie gpu can work on a pcie slot of any mobo. also try clearing cmos

No it's still not showing anything. Are the fans suppose to spin then stop then spin again?

no, the fans should start and stay spinning constantly.!the evga 600b should be more than enough for the 270x. more likely to be a gpu issue. is it possible that you could run the gpu on another system?

on a second though there is also a chance of a psu issue since your previous gpu didnt need extra power.anyway it is either a psu or a gpu fault.most probably a gpu one.since you cant test further , ask for an rma from your retailer, ot the gpu to be tested.

if the gpu you bought was a new retail product then it must has warranty. it doesnt matter if you had a discount. in europe all electonic devices has 2 year warranty! http://ec.europa.eu/consumers/ecc/consumer_topics/buyin... . i dont know about other countries.try not to get fooled!

since your pc works with the older gpu and fails with the new which requires additional power it must be an psu issue then.evga 600b has three wear warranty, you can also claim an rma or have it checked.

If you got an MSI 270x, when you press the power button, they meant to spin then stop then spin. its spins backwards to remove any dust in the gpu during bootup before spinning forward. it is considered as a feature of MSI cards. My MSI 270 does that everytime i turn it on.

Did you uninstall previous drivers before putting in the 270x.
Else its probably a defective card. It can happen but rarely.

there is such feature in some msi gpu but you should have signal. also a succusful post should be folhowed by a single beep. what does yours?

well check your mobo manual and see if it refers to any beep patters. if yes the you must plug a mobo speaker http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168... to hear.

also cheak this out.http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/faq/id-1753671/bench-trou... and
