Yes.


As thingys go - this thingy begins at a hardware level that allows for 64 bit movement and processing of data. This is opposed to the 32bit thingy that came after the 16 and 8 bit thingys as hardware and memory advancements have been made.

The software thingy does require the windows thingy to be able to leverage the hardware thingy.

You can install 32bit or 64bit windows on 64bit hardware (most all current hardware is 64bit but check.) You should not be able to install 64bit windows on a 32 bit architecture - though I have never tried.

I hope this wasn't too detailed - but things like thingys can be complex.

If your Processor is 64 bit then You can Install 64 bit or 32 bit OS.If you have 32 bit processor then you can only Install 32 bit OS.Windows 64 bit can run 32 bit programs but 32 bit can not run 64 bit programs:bounce:
