So I recently bought a Ultra Defender 2 White Mid-Tower Gaming Case. And now that I bought Titanfall for my PC I finally have a reason to use the disk tray, but it won't open! I even go to Computer and there is no indication of a disk tray even being there. I click on the disk tray button, but it just seems like it is dead and wont even make a noise. I even put a tiny paprclip into the hole, but it only opens up a little bit, not even enough to open it with my fingers. Help me!

More about : disk tray wont open

Well it sounds like either the power isn't connected to the drive or it is dead.

Push a little harder with the paperclip.

So I called TigerDirect (The place I bought it from) and they said I need a new disk drive? But I'm really bad with PC's and dont want to mess with it. But I do see 1 cord connecting to the disk drive from my power supply, should i try and unplug that?

If you only have one cable going to the drive.....then you're missing one. Power or data.

You should have an SATA cable AND a power cable connected to the back of the drive.

FIXED THIS GUYS! My brother found some unused cables lying in my PC and connected it to the disk drive, TigerDirect was obvioulsy to busy to do that..
