Hey,

I'll be buying a corsair h100i and a haf x case soon and I've got some questions:
1. Is the H100i noisy? Is there a better sealed unit for around the same price?
2. Should I buy better, new/extra fans for the HAF X and/or H100i? Will it make a noticeable temperature difference?
3. What fan configuration of intake/exhaust should I have on the H100i and HAF X?
4. Would I need static pressure fans or something?
It's my first build, I have no idea what's the best configuration :)

Many thanks

Adding more fans should improve the airflow and temperatures in a case, if laid out properly. The downside is that you are guaranteed more noise for every fan you add.

For the HAF X, your best bet would be top-mounted in a push/pull configuration if you plan to add more fans to it. Fans with a high static pressure offer the best cooling results on radiators.

Thanks. Would I benefit from replacing the fans that come with the HAF X with different type of fans?
