Solution
According to the manual for your TV, and like I suspected, the maximum resolution using the PC port on the TV is 1360x768. It has a chart of supported resolutions on page 36 of the manual.

But like the previous poster stated it seems that the TV should have two HDMI ports. So either the TV you listed is not what you actually have or you have a couple ports that you haven't found yet.
I feel like the HDMI to VGA adapter might be a problem, it's the only thing unusual that sticks out. Does your GPU not have HDMI out or does the TV not accept HDMI? If you can try and make that a straight HDMI connection and see if that doesn't help at all.

You may want to check the manual on your TV and see what resolutions each port supports, some only have a max resolution of 1360x768 with VGA.

You might be right

But he said that it downscale from 1920x1080 to 1360x768.

so its on 1920x1080

That's what I was thinking also but I don't really have another guess. Maybe when he enters the game it is starting to push more data through than it will support and is kicking the resolution down as a safety. <-- Doesn't make too much sense to me but anything is possible with some of these manufacturers.
