I want to connect my laptop 2.5 hard disk 500 GB to my pc internally. It contains windows 7 32 bit installed.
When i connected it to my pc, it says unable to boot, insert a propper boot media.
When iam going to install a fresh window 7 on it... windows setup says "unable to load window on this partition..it may have diffrent boot settings"

How can i bypass this error ? please suggest

1. A drive from a laptop, with an existing Windows install, will not boot in a new desktop

2. Even if it did work, the license for that original Win 32bit install is tied to that laptop motherboard.

3. Yes you can install a new Windows installation on that drive. You have to boot from the install DVD. Not try to install from within a running Windows instance.
