AMD FX-8320 Vishera 3.5GHz Processor and Nvidia GeForce GTX 660

I'm looking to upgrade my computer a little bit. I currently run with an AMD A10 5800K CPU and an AMD Radeon HD 7570 GPU plus 12 GB of RAM. I can barely run Battlefield 4 with all low settings and still keep about 20 - 30 FPS. If I were to replace my CPU and GPU, would the AMD FX-8320 Vishera 3.5GHz Processor and Nvidia GeForce GTX 660 GPU be a good gaming combination for Battlefield 4? If so, what kind of performance might it give me?

  1. With a 660 you could run medium settings. The 8320 if overclocked is a decent cpu.
  2. If you are wanting to change to any FX series CPU, you will need to replace your motherboard (and possibly OS) since you currently have a socket FM2 motherboard and FX CPUs are socket AM3+
  3. You will need a new motherboard to support that chip, it's a different socket.

the fx 8320 is on a different socket/chipset so you would also have to upgrade your motherboard too

the a10 should handle a 660 in your setup so long as you have a psu to support it

here is some benchmarks tom's ran for that card on bf4,3634-7.html

they use a lot better cpu so i would suspect you would be able to get around 50-60 fps on med setttings with a few setting on high
