A problem that's appeared with more and more programs, is that they insist on hiding the task bar completely. These programs are mainly Origin and Uplay, though as a bug it has happened in Chrome, requiring me to minimize and reopen the window, and iTunes must be minimized and opened again to not hide it when started up. I auto-hide the task bar, because reasons, and this particular problem was also present in a previous installation of W7 (reinstalled because of some HW changes).
A friend of mine, who doesn't auto-hide the task bar, told me that Origin would sometimes (not always) cover the task bar.
The simple solution is to just not maximize the window, but I like having full screen view of programs, it makes it look more tidy.
