So i just got a Corsair cx750m and a 8320 when i try to overclock it and when i do the stress test i get a whining sound from the psu then the sound stops and computer completely freezes. Should i ask for a replacement PSU?
The CX line of PSU's are not really made to handle overclocking. They are considered tier 3 PSU's. Get yourself a better PSU before you take another shot at overclocking.
But you need to take into consideration the overclock. I think your going to have issues with this PSU and your AMD with the overclock. Maybe lessen your overclock.
yah and its only 10$ more so il see what happens with this new one idk whats wrong ive overclocked my buddys system same as mine beside he has a h100 he likes to copy me and i have his overclocked to 4.6ghz so idk whats wrong

I hate to harp, but I am sure that the reason for the issues is that that cpu do is more demanding power wise.
