So i just got a Corsair cx750m and a 8320 when i try to overclock it and when i do the stress test i get a whining sound from the psu then the sound stops and computer completely freezes. Should i ask for a replacement PSU?

But remember you have now upgraded to more powerful and power hungry CPU.

The Intel i5 4760 takes less power than the AMD fx 8320 therefore it's not as demanding on the PSU.

I hate to harp, but I am sure that the reason for the issues is that that cpu do is more demanding power wise.
