I remember years ago when play-station 1 was released, it allowed access to music cd's from the start even sega cd (while being a hideous monstrosity.) in a era where actually owning a console was more then cool, it was something you loved coming home to.
Same for playstation 2. music; and games, that we all loved to play until the playstation 3 and xbox 360 came along.
Able to stream music with cool effects (well on 360 side yes, but non the less.) watch movies, right from the day of purchase years ago.
Now, well now it's as if times gone backwards so back.
After purchasing a xbox one, that i deeply regret.
I tried to except all the flaws the micrsosofts xbox one has but its just to great that overall i'm resorting to selling it. (it's true it's designed for the american market xbone, but with the issues that plague it anyone would question it's true value.)
If your not a typical pc person, or just just find it a hassle (its not my place to judge any one on buying a console.) then that's cool. but from a person who has owned all consoles dating back to late 80's, they have always delivered but not the xbox one, (yes all this can be fixed, or not.) however this isn't about when but rather now. right now are you actually getting value for your money, as i'm clearly not.
This isn't about if xbox one run 1080p but rather what it offers you as a service that i ever lastingly enjoyed so much on my xbox 360.
Clearly microsofts been spying on us.
Because how do they now we have family's or not, given that's the demographic market xbox ones currently targeting. (i demand xbox one elite edition. that will never arrive any time soon.)
I have listed things that annoy me about xbox one, that make me appreciate my xbox 360 greatly where the all and great xbox one entertainment system can't do especially for day one launch that released few months ago with issues i cannot except.

Cannot background stream music while gaming. (your gaming session turns into 720p window with black bars, in favor that your snapped app that sits idly reducing what you loved previously on other consoles to something that's just unforgivable.) If you do not know what i mean, go play dragons dogma and you'll see.

Kinnect 2.0 very finicky in low light environments, and does not favor fans or noisy environments. (reducing the value for gamers that just want to play what they loved from previous generations. if it aint broken don't fix it i say.)

No easy way to select movies from your xbox one that has access to your local network, resulting in movies streaming a unstoppable playlist that can only be controlled from the pc. No usb support.

Can only message 32 friends thats it, but if you decide to have more virtual friends good luck deciding who to message, given the 360 allowed 120+ friend messages?

Xbox one hijacks 100gig hard drive space in favor for windows 8.
6 While sonys ps4 has a power supply built internally inside the console; the xbox one does not, raising the question why there's not built in tv tuner for xbox one, given it can send imputs to your tv's functions but no way to access features xbox offers Meaning: microsoft will either ask you to buy one set top box, or use some pay tv service.

Things i like about xbox one
1 Family sharing (If that's what you call it) allows 1 gold account to turn other silver accounts gold.
2 Region free games. (If any one wishes to know how to buy xbox one games for $59.95 from any country, you need paypal+ payoneer= usa master card free, just add paypal cash to it. and you can buy what ever you want of xbox one, same goes for ps4.) hope that helps you out on your adventures.
3 Able to stream 5 minutes of video with game pvr, (nothing game changing)but its there.
So overall my 360 seems more valuable now than i realised, i'm so tempted to sell my xbone once iv'e played all exclusives, but if i play my xbox 360 i will have silver. now thats harsh
Might go back and play all the ps3 games i forgot to play
