I just got a new this card for my new gaming rig. The only issue is i'm waiting on a RMA for my RAM. So I put it in my old system. At first I wasn't getting anything black screen no bios or anything. The fans run but that's it. So I have a modular power supply 800w gold cert figured maybe it needed 2 cables. I tried it and it worked for a few hours ran a benchmark and stuff then had to go to work. Now it's back to just a black screen I tried flashing bios on MB tried uninstalling all drivers but still nothing not even bios splash screen. Fans are still working fine. I tried hdmi and both dvi with no luck. My old video card had diag lights on the top when it booted should this one?

Here is my system specs hope someone can help

Thanks

It's a rosewill lighting 800. I'll try a different slot. The psu powers my old video card no issues. I just think it's odd that the r9 worked for a few hours until I shut off the comp. My board is older not sure if that would cause issues or not.
