How do I stop my computer from going into Power Saving mode?

Please help! I can't go to my control panel or whatever and I can't get a new monitor because that would destroy all my pictures and stories that I wrote. It keeps going into power saving mode. And no, I can't even get in my computer, every time I turn it on it just says this:

getting a new monitor wont destroy anything.try another monitor,recheck your monitors connections.are you running off of integrated graphics or a dedicated graphics card.if you are running off a dedicated card and have internal graphics try connecting your monitor to the integrated graphics connection off of your motherboard.if you have it disabled in the bios got to the bios first and enable it.if it boots alright and you have a screen its likely a problem with dedicated card.post back with more info,such as computer and graphics specs.
