Solution Jaxem Mar 21, 2014 it'll be compatible and run just fine, but you really shouldn't ever overclock with it
Jaxem Honorable Jul 22, 2013 2,170 3 12,960 Mar 21, 2014 #2 it's not a bad combo, but the mobo does seem a bit neglected compared to the rest, i'd maybe get a 8320 and a M5A 97 (non-LE), but there's absolutely nothing wrong with that combination. Upvote 0 Downvote

Sakkura Illustrious Aug 22, 2011 8,129 3 37,965 Mar 21, 2014 #4 Bad_Kitty13 : it does only have 4+2power phase More importantly, there is no VRM heatsink. If at all possible, get the M5A97 R2.0 instead. It only costs a little bit more, and it adds that VRM heatsink. Upvote 0 Downvote
