Hi all.

Well, i currently have a 5850 CF in a AMD FX6300 (stock), Gigabyte GA-990X UD3 mobo, 8GB of Kingstone DDR31600 CL9, and a Corsair TX750 V2.

Everything but the PSU is going to my Little brother's PC, and i'm thinking of a 4670K/4770K.

The cards are overclocked, stock 725/1000, i have them at 875/1200, they perform very well taking into account how old they are.

I'll be playing at 1080p, and i would like to know what AMD card gives a similar performance to my OCed 5850's, so i can see how much i'll be spending.

I do plan on buying a second card in the future, CF is a pain sometimes, but i feel it's worth it. I'd want to watercool them in the future, too, so only reference designs.

Any ideas will be apprecieted!.

So, a 270, 270x...?

280 or 280x I'm guessing. Crossfired 5850's are fairly powerful actually. Regardless, I wouldn't toss anything lower end than a 270x. The 280 and 280x are about 20 dollars difference in price, so I'd skip the 280 and go for the 280x if you are going to spend that much money.
