My mother board came with an sli bridge, do it need/ where do I install it if I do?

I'm not even sure what these are used for but it came with one. Do I need it? I've never heard of these.

An SLI bridge is used when you have two Nvidia cards working together. If you only have one card, you will not need it. I would just throw it back in the box in case you ever do.

It is used for Nvidia SLI. Used to combine 2-4 GPU's to increase performance over 1.
