My PSU does not have a 6 pin Pci-e cable. But has an extra 4 pin and SATA cable. I was wondering if there was and adapter for this. SATA + 4pin = 6 pin Pci-e

If your psu does not have a 6 pin pcie cable, consider the possibility that it is an old design that may not be able to deliver enough +12v amps to run anything that needs a 6 pin connector.
Exactly what psu do you have, and what do you intend to connect it ot?

If your psu is of good quality, there should be 2-4 molex adapters that can be combined to output to a 6 pin pcie lead.

The adapter I suggested would work with only one molex cable connected to it; the one you found does the exact same thing. A 7790 would pull about 100W, depending on your PSU it might or might not work. I'd say it's worth a try since a half-decent 500W PSU should have no trouble with such a card; if you can, make sure nothing else connected to the cable you use the adapter on.
