Hello there,

Here is a link to the product:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822152232

It is a Samsung G3 station (with the most insanely difficult-to-open casing, without causing any damage to it).

So I managed to get the casing open and I saw that the board that has the power and USB ports is slightly damaged.

The damage is that the part that connects the board to the HDD itself(the equivalent of an internal power-supply-to-HDD connector) broke off from the board (all pins still attached, but it seems likely the board is damaged).

How can I replace this board?

Do I require some special board manufactured by Samsung (or OEM) or can I find any external casing (with a power board that has same voltage, amps) ?

I'm pretty sure the HDD itself is not damaged, as it was not an electrical failure.

Any help will be much appreciated.
