Overclocking the EVGA 760

My system specs:
MB: MSI B85-G41
Ram: 8gb (4*2) 1600 Corsair
CPU: I5 4440 3.1ghz
GPU: EVGA GTX 760 2gb w/ ACX
PSU: OCZ 500W
Case: NZXT 410 Elite My case has 3 fans, 2 front Intakes and back fan.
HDD: 1tb 7200 rpm HDD

I am using Precision X to overclock.
My GTX 760 has a 1072mhz base clock, and 1502 memory clock. I have OCed the Base clock to 1127mhz (Not much) and the Memory clock to 1528mhz. How much further can I overclock without using to much power? Should I even overclock anymore?
Also if I were to go over the 500 Watt limmit, would something break? Even if there is only a tiny chance I'd like to know.

generally, you'll know when you have an unstable overclock on the GPU. the game/program you're testing it with will crash or start showing artifacts (weird colors in certain areas and etc).

there's no way to tell how much further of an overclock your GPU is willing to take, each GPU is unique just like the CPU. you'll have to continue to overclock further and keep an eye out for any kind of odd behavior from the GPU. i wouldn't worry too much about the power supply unit for now (if the PSU goes bad, your PC will generally shut off immediately to protect itself but, it certainly is good practice to get a high quality PSU).

I have overclocked a bit now. I have the GPU clock at 1137 mhz, and the memory clock at 1545 mhz. By overclocking anymore how much more power consuption would I be looking at?

i wouldn't expect anything drastic but, replacing that 500w PSU with a quality 600w PSU would be your best best if you want to be safe.

also, if your PSU can't handle the load it will turn itself off to protect your PC. worst case scenario, it'll damage your components.
