Hi. I have two computers in my house, both running on wireless. On one computer, everything is fine. On the computer in the room next to me (literally apart by a wall only) it randomly has .5 mbps and is basically unusable at random times.

The computers have the same OS, network adapter, and CPU, and are running on the same connection.

I've tried:
Resetting the router
changing wireless channel
re-setting computer
manually setting IP address / DNS / Etc
Closing all other programs on slow computer

If anyone give me a headsup on what could be the problem, or even just some more things to trouble shoot, that would be a big help. Thanks!

Ok so, I tried more stuff.

I swapped the network adapters. Didn't help.

I swapped the computers themselves to different rooms. Didn't help. Same exact mobo, cpu, network adaptor, same drivers, same settings, same windows version....

???

nvm, fixed it.... I re-installed the drivers, its fine now... not sure... i could have sworn I checked the driver version, maybe it was just corrupt or something? I have no idea.
