Got my DVD drive connected via the sata cable to the sata connection on the mother board then connected via the... Forget the name but literally the only cable that can connect the drive to a psu... I can't figure out why it won't open. I saw the led light on the DVD drive blink earlier when I turned it on. So it has to be getting power. Thanks!

Ok, try removing the drive from your computer case, but still hooked up to the PSU and try pressing the button to eject the tray. If that doesn't work you possible got a bad Drive.

Try moving the flap of the DvD drive bay if you have one, and holding it down while you press the button and if it bops out, your good and you just have the flap blocking it or the drive isn't strong enough to push it down.
