Monitor turns on but it goes black after the Windows 7 start up screen and then all I see is a cursor. But its working fine in "safe mode with Networking". Please help!!!. Any luck that I can fix this problem using the safemode?

back up important files. run virus and malware scans. Also in safe mode, try this. http://pcsupport.about.com/od/toolsofthetrade/ht/sfc-scannow.htm

also run windows updates, and consider reverting to a restore point if you have one made

I got something like this when i Run SFC /Scannow to Repair.

Should I go ahead and restart and check? but i think as its not repaired anything it will not fix the issue.
