PNY vs EVGA GTX 660. Is there much of a difference between the two brands?

I could get a PNY Geforce GTX 660 2gb for $150. Or should I pay a little more for EVGA and get one of their superclocked ones? The base clock and boost clock are a little higher, but how important is that?

The idea I've gotten about EVGA is that they are a good brand. But then I heard someone say that they used a cheap part in there product. I think he was talking about the VRM's on it.

Any info?

No, I'm talking about buying a PNY 660 that has a $30 rebate, or paying full price for an EVGA 660... same Geforce model, just different brands.

but thanks for the research.

no worries i mean if you look at the comparison theres not much difference in performance to be honest if it was me and i was getting a rebate on the Pny 660 id just go for that and maybe overclock it to be honest

Not really. I'd rather go for the cheaper one.
