I prefer MSI Afterburner for my overclocking, but its all preference. As for what to overclock it to, just start raising the clocks in small jumps, usually 5-25mhz. When the card gets unstable or too hot, back off a few clicks and that's about where you should end up.

You can always overclock more, just watch your temps. As for wearing it down, these cards can last for years. Most likely you will replace the card long before it wears out. I've got a 7970 which has been mining for a long time and its still going. (mining is very hard on cards by running at max load constantly)

Should I over clock using OC guru 2? and how many Mhz do you think i should overclock it to?
