I'm going to lean on the fact that the Sabertooth 990FX doesn't support the 9590FX.

If you still have the boxes, I'd see if you can return the 9590FX and get a 8350FX.

Thats a huge shame, it will be returned. Got that cpu 420 pounds off so i though why not. guess I've learned my lesson.

Well if you want to keep the 9590, you could return the motherboard. I don't think it's really necessary to keep the 9590. It's basically a 8350 overclocked. It runs hotter than a 8350 and can't really be overclocked any higher than the base clock it's shipped with.

So now I've put my old 8120 back in, working fine now. One question if i was to get a 8350 would i see a significant improvement on my fps in game?

It just turns off? No blue screen or message?

No message, seems like the cpu is getting hot quick and its shutting off my pc. My cpu fan is running but the cpu is getting hot very fast. leaving to cool off but other than that no idea. I've checked and this cpu is compatible.

Looks like my heat sink isn't cooling off my cpu, its just spinning its fan.

Is the heat sink seated correct? Was there thermal paste on the heat sink? Did you apply it yourself?

Try reseating the heatsink, and add a fresh layer of thermal compound. I recommend Arctic Silver 5. (Got my laptop running 12c lower!;D)
