Electric shower has power but no water?

Hi Guys my shower has packed up and was wondering what you think the cause might be, I've been on ebay and some of the ads say that its the solenoid coil that is broken, is this correct?

Yes ,if you turn on the shower but get no water then in all probability it is the solenoid valve,it is a common point of failure with electric showers.
