If my motherboard has say 16gb limit on the ram it can support, is that essentially just saying that the slots can take up to 8gb (for 2 slots) or 4gb (4 slots) or does that include the gpu memory as well? If I was running 16gb ram and had a 4gb gpu, would I lose 4gb of ram or is it completely separate?
