I am building a PC, and I got a discount for using a Biostar motherboard. http://pcpartpicker.com/p/3ejut
I want to use the rosewill challenger case, but that comes with 3 case fans and the motherboard only has slots for two, and I do not want to be running one of them at full power constantly. I was wondering if it was possible to use the connect two of the fans with the molex pass through cable they come with and then plug one of the 3 pin connectors on said cable into the moterboard. Is that possible or would I need to get a 3 pin splitter? I do not want to spend any more money on better components, if I were to change anything other than just adding a splitter, it would need to make it cheaper for better or equal performance.
