HELP - My w7 pro (SP 1) hp 2000 laptop iogear GBU521W6 bluetooth dongle not finding bluetooth devices

Hi,
I just bought a Blue Piston to use with my devices. I also picked up a iogear GBU521W6 bluetooth dongle so I can use it on my HP 2000 laptop, iPad and HTC Desire phone. It paired with my HTC desire and my iPad easily but not the laptop. Am I missing a step? I have updated all the drivers on the laptop, turned the bluetooth services on and made them automatic at startup.
I was up until 3 this morning trying to get this thing to work. HELP

I can't find a manual for the blessed thing, but I have Bluetooth devices that will only pair with a maximum of two other devices. If you want to check this, first read the manual (if there is one). Then, unpair it from the Desire and the iPad and try to pair it with the dongle. If it works, you are up against the two-device limit.

If you're going to talk about your Desire and your dongle, maybe another forum might be better.
