Sounds like a faulty/failing power supply to me. I had a Thermaltake TR2 600W power supply with almost the same problem. system would power on and access bios, boot windows but would never stay running more than 5-10 minutes. Different power supply and problem was resolved. Hope that helps

This is my initial diagnostic too. I guess i need a second opinion. I dont have any spare
Psu to test with right now.

If this really is the case, what migt have caused this and does this affect any of my other components.? Psu is not even a year old.

What tests did her ran on the psu exactly? If he just pluged it in and checked if it does bring power, then that's not a proper test. Your PSU fails after some minutes with specific load. Did he simulate those conditions?
The best you can do is take your PC where you bought it from and let them figure this out.

I think they tested the voltage of the psu. And ofc tested on another system

I went to the shop and have the thing checked, the problem was the motherboard. It is only 4 months old and i am very disappointed. I should have gotten asrock.. :\, well anyway, the shop had it rma'ed and hopefully i can open my pc again.. will update you guys on the result if you are still intrested.

Glad they figured it out. But I can tell you one thing. I've been building PCs for the last 15 years and the only brand I'm completely satisfied and never had problems with, is Gigabyte. I've RMAed many motherboards and unfortunately most of them where Asus, but I never had problems with a Gigabyte. Maybe I was lucky but I swear on Gigabyte products after my experience.
