Hello everyone, I have had two horrible experiences within the last 5 months, first I bought a 23 inch TN panel for gaming, while it was great, gamma shifting and color changes made me so mad that I sold that monitor just right after 3 months of purchase at half the price, then I bought this Asus MX239h AH-IPS ,and while it covers some of the deficits of the previous TN panel, and it's great it shows dark grays instead of blacks....I am sooooo mad now!!! just wanted to play splintercell black list....:( :( :(  I just don't know what else to do!? go plasma? they say it has burn in, also the smaller models just support 720p not 1080p!! go with VA!? they say, they are awful for gaming....although I am likely to give that a go if I can be sure it covers this problem...if VA is a way to go....what models do you recommend...:(

IPS LED has great blacks and they're very bright. I've been gaming on a samsung IPS LED monitor for a couple months and love it. http://www.amazon.com/Asus-VS247H-P-23-6-Inch-Full-HD-L...

I am willing to spare up to 300$ just need good black level, not noticable gamma shifting, good response time ( I am ok with 5ms) and reasonable input lag

I don't have any problems with 60hz.... but I got that, this monitor also uses IPS panel, I need better static contrast ratio, something like 3000:1 or 5000:1 from what I understand IPS is no where near these numbers, pls for example offers 800:1 up to 1000:1 contrast ratio...
