my system specs are
core 2 duo 2.8ghz
4gb ram
intel integrated graphics 256mb
pcie x16 slot
ddr2 motherboard
will zotac nvidia geforce gt610 synergy edition 2gb ddr3 fit and work in my slot as it supports pci e 2.0 x16 slot and ddr3 graphics.remember my mobo is ddr2

The DDR2 is system RAM and has nothing to do with the GPU memory. Also, the PCI-e specifications are backwards compatible. You can run any PCI-e card in any PCI-e x16 slot, the catch is that the card will be limited to the speed of the slot. (i.e. A PCI-e 3.0 GPU running in a PCI-e 1.1 slot will only run at the 1.1 specs.)
