I'm planning on getting an Asus vs228h-p monitor. It has an HDMI, DVI, and VGA input; I plan on connecting my pc via DVI and my Xbox via HDMI. The monitor has a 3.5mm audio connector too, but it is not specified if it's an audio input or output. This matters because I want to connect my xbox via hdmi and plug my headphones via the 3.5mm jack on the monitor too, so that I can get video and audio with my headphones. So would this be possible to do? I don't want to have to run a setup like using an hdmi cable and a modded Xbox 360 A/V Cable and a crazy adapter thing. Please help me out. Basically, will I be able to use the 3.5mm jack on the monitor to hear audio from it with headphones plugged straight into it (no adapters) with my xbox plugged into the monitor via hdmi- obviously the monitor would also be on HDMI source when I'm gonna use my xbox. HELP! Thank you.
