Internet slowing down, cutting out, just on one PC

I have an Alienware Aurora R3 that has been working well until a few days ago. Now the wireless internet slows down and stalls, comes to a total stop and browsing is impossible. I've tried two different USB wireless adapters (AE1000 Cisco and Belkin USB N Adapter), same issue with both.
I've done a factory reset twice, no change.
We have 5 Macs in the house that are working perfectly fine, same with the iPads and phones, no issues at all with the internet connection.
Where can I start?

No, same distance as at least two of the macs, plus it's been working perfectly fine for years signal strength usually is between 2 and 3 bars). I have a phone and two tablets around once a while, but not always, and they haven't affected the internet performance before.
I've restored the PC to factory settings an hour ago and am trying to reinstall games etc. via steam, download speed goes anywhere from 3.5 MB/s down to 30 kb/s to 0.
