I have been playing my xbox one on my 1600x900 monitor using a hdmi to dvi cable since my monitor does not have a hdmi port. I have noticed that when I play on my monitor, a game like Battlefield 4 looks terrible but looks great on my TV. Why is that? Also, what would be a good 1080p monitor that has 2 hdmi ports and great picture for around $150-$200 that would be great for console and PC gaming?

Console graphics isn't very good. It could be because a monitor has a higher pixel density(around 100 pixels/inch) as opposed to a TV(50 pixels/inch).
