Hi guys.

Today I purchased a new ATX Case, 430w corsair psu and GT 620 graphics card from Scan. I used a motherboard and RAM from an Acer Aspire X3960 pc and put it into the new case, along with the 430w PSU and graphics card. I connected all of the cables, but when I go to switch on my PC, I get no display off the GPU or Integrated GPU. When I take the card out, i'm able to use the integrated graphics. I have checked everything over in the BIOS, but this hasn't made a difference. It seems that Acer deliberately disable PCIE slots in the bios to stop people from using them? Or so I believe.

Anyway, I'm also using a DVI lead connected to a VGA adapter on my monitor, as my monitor doesnt have DVI input. I have also noticed that on the motherboard, there isn't a plug for the PCIE cable that comes from the PSU direcly. The fan powers up on the dedicated card and everything, just no display.

Any help that you guys on here could offer, would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks a lot in advance. :)

Can you sent me the picture of the menu where pci is disabled. That might be the only reason your card isn't working. And one more thing try this card in another motherboard see if it works, if it works than it is either your BIOS doing it or motherboard. Cheers.
