Weird Occurance in Windows 7

Last night, I went outside briefly and came back in to my computer acting strangely. The programs were all locked up, but the cursor could be moved. The WIFI signal had disappeared with the red Ethernet logo in its place. A notification had popped up stating that windows security was turned off. And then, it restarted by itself. Should I be concerned that I might have some sort of malware on my computer?

Sounds like it, I'd boot to safe mode w/ networking and download and run MalwareBytes (they have a free version

I ran a full MalwareBytes scan in Safe Mode with Networking. The results came back clear. Could the possible malware be undetectable by Malwarebytes?

It's possible, there are new ones out daily, could also be a virus (AVG has a free version.....might call up MSCONFIG and look for anything unusual (i.e. anything with no maker listed)

The services I found with an unknown manufacturer were Intel(R) ME Service, COMODO Dragon Update Service and Wireless PAN DHCP Server. The rest of the services seem legit and all have manufacturers that I am aware of.

My guess would be the Wireless PAN DHCP Server, have seen that causing problems on the web, try disabling and see what happens
