For the pass few months my rig which consist of:
Mobo: Asus Crosshair V Formula
GPU:gigabyte r9 270x 4gb ddr5
CPU:AMD FX 8320
RAM: G Skillz 4gb x2 @ 1600 and Gskill 2gb x 2 @ 1333
PSU: ThermaTake 850w
HDD: 1tb Western Digital And 500gb Seagate

Well, my rig has been working on and off. I've been troubleshooting it and get outcomes like this:

One week: it will work absolutely fine
Next Week: it freezes while booting windows, (solution that fixed it to work again was reseating everything on the Mobo)
Next Week After: It works fine
That weekend: It doesnt post (solution for that was taking all the ram out and my GPU and place in my older r7770 gpu)
Currently: Im currently troubleshooting it now as I write this. At the moment, Im getting the rig to post and boot fine. But now when I goto bios to monitor voltage it freezes.

What has been replace since the problems started?
CPU,GPU, and HSF

In my own opinion, I'm thinking it has to be either the mobo or psu. Please would someone tell me what they think it is. I dont believe its the mobo because its only been almost 2 years since i brought it and it still comes on just fine.

NOTE: The time I was able to monitor the voltage of the mobo the DRAM Voltage went up too 1.280 and was red, (it usually a black font). Does my situation sound l like a psu problem?

Please any kind of feedback that will help me diagnose this problem would be greatly appreciated.

Well, Ive tested all my memory and the stick came back okay in memtest.

Atm, Im currently using the rig.

I believe I solved the issue myself.

First: I had waaayyyy to many metal board risers.

Second: the psu has been with me since my experimental phases of me trying to incorporate my car amp into my pc [I have it successfully working with my pc just wanted it to not be on a separate switch], But with that being said when I was experimenting I fryed my other mobo and processor, which I believe all melted the 8 to 6 pin connector to my cpu because when I actually paid the connectors some attention it looked burnt.

Currently: I have replaced the connector, and removed the extra board risers and I currently have no issues with the rig atm. :D

I hope my situation helps someone.

My advice would be to check connections and make sure your rig is setup correctly before assuming the worst.
