Post time is very long after SSD install?

After i installed my SSD, my motherboard takes forever to beep. it used to take 3seconds now it takes 11seconds. but the SSD is doing its job. it boots into windows in less than 10seconds but im talking about the motherboard beep. i have a GIGABYTE GA-970A-D3P motherboard. i tried chaning the bios to disable every other boot option. the SSD is the first boot option and the others are disabled. i did change that IDE setting to AHCI (is that correct?) just in case it matters: SSD is plugged into the "0" port HDD plugged into "1" port and optical drive in "2" port. please help me. my computer would boot much faster if it wasn't taking the MB so long to beep.

Did you set the BIOS to optimized defaults before anything else? Is your memory configured right? In bios, CSM support is configurable only if win8 in to be installed or is installed. Maybe check that.
