I apologize in advance for the long post.
I've been researching, configuring, budgeting, and planning for over a year. I have a solid idea for the machine itself, but I'm overwhelmed with choices when it comes to peripherals. I would be playing games (such as gmod, ArmA, BF4) as well as simming (FSX and DCS). My main concern is a keyboard and mouse, but I am also looking for suggestions on a headset. When I play, I want to immerse myself and have good sound, so any info on a good pair of cans would be appreciated. I grip the mouse with a claw/palm grip. The Corsair M65 caught my eye, can anyone vouch for it? For a keyboard, any recommendations will help. I tried a Razer Blackwidow in-store, and I found the clicking obnoxious. I found the Microsoft Sidewinder X4 attractive, due to its backlighting and price. On a final note, I need suggestions on a solid flight sim HOTAS and pedals. If anyone can vouch for anything, it will help a lot. Any tips and suggestions will be appreciated!
