Unlike just about every other piece you can buy for a computer, a case (if taken care of) can out last your components, so it may just be worth it to increase your budget about, it could save you more in the long run

Wow, $4 over.

OP meant best in that range.

Stop acting all high and mighty. There are decent cases in that range, this one is just really good quality and is worth an extra $4.

Thanks for all the suggestions. Yeah, I don't mind going past $40 if it's not by much and if the case is really worth it. I just figured there might be a decent case within the $30-$40 range.

I was looking at the Xigmatek Recon for $30.

Any thoughts on this case? I'd say the only gripe is with the direction that the hard drives mount.

I think it's between this case and the Antec GX500 which can be had for $35 at NewEgg.
