Building a PC - Deciding on a CPU route, APU or CPU with dedicated graphics card

So I am building a pretty budget PC, I will probably be using a DVI output and mostly be using applications such as Photoshop and Illustrator but I occasionally like to play games such as Football Manager 14, Minecraft (High Detail) and Dirt 3 ( Medium detail @ 720p). I have already sorted out components such as the case and PSU but I am having trouble deciding on the correct CPU and have narrowed it down to two options.

Either I could buy a standalone CPU and GPU, if this is the case I would most likely go for the AMD FX-6300. However, this would only allow me to spend around £45 on a graphics card.

Or I could go for a AMD APU from the Richland or Kaveri series such as A-10 7600K and use the intergrated graphics although it would require me to buy a higher MHz of RAM and most likely cancel out the price difference.

Either option I go for has the possibility of adding a better dedicated graphics card in the future. So which one do you reccomend I go for to suit my needs?

You should get the more powerful CPU and look for a motherboard with some kind of integrated graphics to start with. You can always buy a video card later on, but you shouldn't have a problem with minecraft or football manager.

I have the FX 6300, This chip is great. A lot of games , even online ones, require a lot of CPU power. I would get that CPU. I don't like integrated graphics at all. I mean it might perform well but I use mostly NVIDIA and the drivers don't like to "see" ATI graphics anywhere. Case in point. I have an old rig in the back that has a Intergrated ATI and unless I disable it in the bios , NVidia PhysX's wont work.

Do you know where the FX-6XXX series comes into that?

Somewhere above the i3. I would get the FX6300 and maybe a graphics card like a GT640?

If this is in your price range go for it. If it is let me know how much extra you can spend and I'll make it better

I have already bought the Case, PSU and Hard Drive so I have around £200 left of my budget to spend on the CPU, RAM, Motherboard and some king of graphics.

Yea you're best off with AMD cause intel will be too expensive. Later on you can get a graphics card that will suit your needs for probably around $70 or $80. Minecraft and Football Manager will run fine regardless of what integrated video you have so don't even worry about that. Dirt 3 not so much, but when you get a graphics card you'll be set.

OK thanks and finally which processor do you think would be superior the X4 760k or the FX-6300 considering I will probably be getting a HD 7770 in the future?

That was my original thought however I need a Micro ATX motherboard with USB 3.0 front ports, at least 1 6Gb/S
SATA port but I was having trouble finding a AM3+ motherboard which fits all these criteria.
